Quantum Space, a leader in enabling space transportation and infrastructure in geostationary orbit (GEO) and cislunar space, today announced industry veteran and current Chief Operating Officer, Kerry Wisnosky, has been named president and CEO of the company.

Quantum Space (Quantum) today announced the Ranger multi-operations vehicle (MOV), a highly capable and modular orbital transfer vehicle (OTV) which is designed to host and precisely deliver payloads directly in Geostationary orbit, cislunar space, and beyond.

Quantum Space today announced it received a $15 million investment from Prime Movers Lab, a U.S.-based venture capital firm. The investment enables Quantum to begin expansion of QuantumNet, a cornerstone project aimed to provide data products and digital services for customers from cislunar space.

Quantum Space today announced their first operational mission to cislunar space will launch in October 2024 and will include partners GEOST, LLC and Blue Canyon Technologies (BCT). Known as QS-1, the mission will be the first step in establishing a superhighway between the Earth and the Moon by deploying commercial capabilities that enable spacecraft to operate in and travel through cislunar space and beyond more effectively and efficiently.

Quantum Space today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with Axient for space systems development on government and commercial missions and projects for existing and new customers. This partnership will deliver value through new technologies and innovation by leveraging the complimentary skills and capabilities of both Quantum Space and Axient.  

With a focus on rapid technological advancement and lowering the cost to access cis-lunar space, a quartet of space veterans are launching Quantum Space, a commercial space infrastructure and services company aimed at disrupting the current norms of the satellite industry.
